Work Areas & Skills Required
• Business experience relevant to rural India, preferably including one or more of Functional areas , Business Operations, Supply Chain Management, Retail Operations, Marketing & Sales.
• Formulating and implementing effective strategies with a view to achieve business objectives and ensure top-line and bottom-line target achievement
• Developing Business Policies & executing effective plans, including P&L structures to assure achievement of agreed upon objectives.
• Planning, scheduling, execution, resource allocation & management of operations
• Strong management skills and the ability to work with customers, partners, and regulators within India steadily to build capacities of the team and local partners to improve operations and financial performance
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial energy and problem-solving capability.
• Understanding of the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Models as applicable to the Healthcare domain in the Social/Development sector and the ability to network with relevant resources across various sectoral organizations.
• Strong Communication skills, ability to work with government officials, technical partners, medical professionals, and Panchayati Raj Institutions and Rural Communities.
• Experience in leading medium to large sized teams for designing, implementing and supervising programme/project operations.
• Ensure activities comply with organisational requirements for quality management, legal stipulations, and general duty of care
Desirable but not essential:
• Prior experience with some aspects of healthcare and/or rural/peri-urban service delivery.
